Andrew accepted the position of Museum Assistant/Site Manager of the Eric Sloane Museum in 2020. Originally from West Virginia, Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education from Shepherd University. He has worked in the public history field for many years at sites like Harper’s Ferry National Park, South Mountain State Battlefield, for the Maryland Park Service, and most recently Henricus Historical Park, where he managed their recreation of a 17th century Virginia colonial farm.
In his spare time, Andrew is an avid agriculturalist, supporter and student of historic trades, and may be found climbing the lines, working aboard tall ships. Working at the Eric Sloane Museum has been a dream come true.
